Metafield
An extra field on a Shopify product, collection or customer for data the standard fields do not hold.
What it means in practice
Material, care instructions, fit, dimensions: metafields carry the details that filters, product pages and feeds rely on. Empty metafields mean weaker filters and thinner product pages.
In Commerce365
Metafield Enricher fills them from your product data. On Autopilot this can run without approval.
